I believe DealDash is the FAIREST penny auction site available because of the BUY IT NOW feature available for every auction. However, having said this, there are too many bidders who seem to feel that a WIN is much more important than winning for less than the price of the package (i. e., over bidding). Has DealDash ever considered any controls to impede this approach? I have a lot of difficulty winning gift cards for less than the value of the card. I do not know why so many people will spend $150-$200 for a $100 gift card. It is very frustrating. HELP!!

    1. Thanks for the feedback Jeff. Unfortunately, overbidding is a phenomenon we cannot explain or avoid. Users are completely responsible for the amount of bids they place in an auction. However, in some rare cases you can see this kind of situations happening. We do not have an explanation or reason why someone would overbid. This does not benefit neither bidders , nor DealDash, since it makes our overall customer experience worse and makes us look dishonest. However, since we do not have any kind of control on bids placed by our users, we cannot avoid these situations. We do always recommend our users to keep to a budget, and focus on just one auction at a time, to avoid overbidding. We do apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your feedback! Have a great day.
