Strategies for Today’s Promotion: No New Bidders After $10

DealDash usually gives its bidders some great opportunities with No New Bidders After $5 on a regular day and frequently offers the No New Bidders After $3 promotions, but today they are offering an unprecedented No New Bidders After $10 promotion. This is exciting news for several reasons and here are a few key strategies to navigating this promotion.

Watch and Wait

If there’s an auction you know usually runs high on bidding, you can watch and wait and decide to get in on the auction later than normal—much later! Where before you would need to get in on the auction before $3 (during special promotions) and $5 on a normal day, now you can get in later and potentially save yourself some bids.

This strategy requires patience. Try not to wait until the bids are down to two people because in my experience, many auctions end suddenly with three, four or even more bidders previously in play. Sometimes auctions end quickly with no “down to two” warning.

Get in Early and Stay the Course

Even though the watch and wait strategy is one anyone can use, I would always recommend getting in on the auctions early and at least starting off to see which bidders fall off quickly and which remain. There’s always a chance that a popular auction will end quickly and you’ll be in the mix to snag a great deal. Backing out of an auction is always a gamble. You have to assess if you are willing to take the chance.

Browse Other Auctions & Take a Chance

The No New Bidders After $10 auctions allow you to browse upcoming and ongoing auctions and perhaps get in on an auction that you may not have considered. Maybe there’s an auction that looks like it might be winding down and you’re willing to place a few bids to see what happens. You never know! Plenty of auctions have been won by placing just a handful of bids.

BidBuddy is Your Best Bet

Using BidBuddy on DealDash is always the best way to go. Place your bids before or during the auction using BidBuddy and you will have time to check out all the other auctions without missing a bid—and while staying within your bidding budget.

While No New Bidders After $10 may potentially mean there will be more bidders in any given auction, you just never know. Here’s hoping you keep your eyes out for the best auctions and get the greatest wins today on DealDash!

Know Your DealDash Promos 101

There are a ton of ways to save money on DealDash, the best way, of course, is snagging a great win at a low price. With so many promotions running on DealDash  it’s important to know not only the different types of promos, but identifying the ones that work the best for you. Let’s get started on your DealDash Promos 101.

Great Prices on Bid Packs

This is first and foremost, the best place to start and one of the best ways to save money. Look for low prices on bid packs and stock up when the pricing is at a premium.

No Jumper Auctions

Generally speaking, no new bidders may enter the auctions to bid after the bids hit the $5 mark. On special days, however, this bidding mark will be lowered to the $3 mark, which means no new bidders can enter the auction once it has hit $3. This sometimes helps to lower the number competing in the auction which may get you closer to the win. In these types of auctions, you may also see several bidders enter before the $3 mark to return later on.

Increased Time as Highest Bidder

Instead of earning up to 10 seconds for each bid you place, you will earn up to 2x or 3x (or more) time as the highest bidder for each bid you place depending on the promotion. If it’s a 3x as highest bidder, you would earn up to 30 seconds for each bid you place as Time as Highest Bidder. This helps your Time as Highest Bidder clock fill up faster—and once that clock hits its mark, you reach the next level and earn more free bids!

50% Off and Free Auction Wins

These type of promos focus on final pricing of the won auctions. Instead of paying full price for a won item, you could be paying half of that with a 50% off auction or just a penny to cover processing for free final auction pricing wins. That’s great news, especially for big-ticket items. Sometimes the competition during these promos is a little higher, but the end result is worth it.

Daily Winning Limits

Occasionally DealDash will offer daily limits of five wins per day, which can sometimes be the perfect time for new bidders to try their hand at bidding. It’s also a great idea if you see that one-of-a-kind item you’ve had your heart set on pop up in the auctions.

One-Per-User Auctions

On these types of auctions, you will see the number “1” inside a yellow rectangular box icon located at the top left hand side of the auction photo on the main page. This indicates that each bidder may only win that item once. These auctions are great for new bidders who want to try their hand at competing for a higher-priced item.

No-Exchange Auctions *NEW*

This type of auction is new and very exciting! These items may not be exchanged to bids, making them a great win for someone who really wants the item! You know some of your competition may be eliminated by those who would have otherwise tried to win the item to exchange it to bids.

With so many promos, it’s easy to see why DealDash is one of the best bidding sites available. Once you narrow down the best promo days to bid, you’re one step closer to the big win!

Good luck and happy bidding on DealDash!

How Using BidBuddy on DealDash Saves You Time, Money & More

When people say that BidBuddy is your best friend on DealDash, they aren’t kidding. For those of you who may be new and are not familiar with BidBuddy, it’s a great computerized bidding tool that for you at just the right moment in the auction’s bidding process.

Picture1

All you do is set the number of bids you would like to place in any particular auction on DealDash and BidBuddy does the work for you—placing each bid at just the right moment so you never waste bids. Here’s are some of the great advantages of using BidBuddy:

Perfect Timing

BidBuddy places your bids one by one at the last few seconds in your bidding place until all your bids run out or you win the auction. If you’ve ever tried to “sit” with your auction and place your bids one by one yourself, you know it can be exhausting and time consuming. BidBuddy takes the guesswork out of bidding.

Set it and Forget It

Just like a slow cooker, there are hug time-saving advantages to using BidBuddy. You literally set the number of bids you want to place with BidBuddy on any given auction and walk away if you choose to. If you’re going to do the latter, just be sure to set the maximum number of bids you want to place in the auction.

Avoid the Stress of the Competition

I will admit that I tend to stay with my auctions as they are happening. I like to check in and keep an eye on things, if you will. I also sometimes have a bad habit of pulling my bids from an auction if I am watching it in order to save my bids until the number of active bidders dwindles a bit. I can’t tell you how many times this has not worked out for me. What I have found in this “save your bids” type of bidding mentality is that it’s best to set my bids through BidBuddy and literally walk away and go do something else.  This strategy works out far better in the long run and I have returned many times to my computer to find I have won the item!

Whether you’re a new bidder or an experienced one, BidBuddy, simply put, is the easiest and most effective way of bidding—bar none. It saves you time, money, stress and worry and allows you to take a break from the action while BidBuddy does all the work for you.

Good luck and happy bidding on DealDash!

Shopping from the Comfort of your Own Home: Why Online Shopping Is on the Rise

Online shopping is a rising trend in the US. Americans are quickly jumping on the bandwagon. The comfort of shopping from home, not having to drive through traffic to get to a shopping mall, more opportunities to compare products and prices to make the smartest decision… These are just some of the reasons why consumers prefer online shopping to traditional brick and mortar stores.

Does this mean the end of traditional shopping in physical stores? According to multiple sources, such as this article on Business.com this may very well be the case. Online shoppers enjoy many perks, and this makes it hard for them to go back to traditional shopping.

What are the main reasons why consumers are now going to the web for the majority of their purchases?

The number one reason why shoppers decide to go online is the ability to compare the price of a product on different websites.

Traditionally, comparing prices would take consumers a long time. They would have to drive from one store to another, in order to see where the product they were looking for was sold cheaper. This was a long process that not everyone was willing to go through.

On the other hand, online shopping has brought complete price transparency. Online shoppers just need a few minutes to browse through the web and see where they can find they product they are looking for cheaper. The ability to save money with very little effort is a huge advantage that e-shoppers enjoy.

E-commerce websites are quickly realizing the importance of excellent customer service, and thus provide more customer service channels than traditional stores.

Successful e-commerce sites provide 24/7 customer service through multiple channels in a convenient way for the customer. As a result, online shoppers have their problems resolved with very little hassle, and end up having a better customer service experience than what they would have had in a physical store.

The social aspect of online shopping is something that customers also enjoy. In the era of social media, online shoppers are able to share purchases on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest with just one click. Being able to share a good purchase or bargain with their online friends gives customers a sense of satisfaction. Social sharing is also beneficial for the business, as it puts their brand in front of more consumers.

E-commerce sites also provide shoppers with detailed information about the products they offer. It is not unusual for product pages to display customer reviews with an average rating. Some reviews also include a piece of text written by a customer who purchased the same product, and shared their experience for other consumers to know. Having this information provides a sense of reassurance that the right decision is being made when purchasing the product. At DealDash, we ask our customers to rate and share their experience with the product, and then share consumer reviews on our product pages.

Here is an example of reviews collected in a DealDash product page:

E-commerce is more popular than ever. Shopping online provides multiple benefits for consumers. With just one click, you can also have access to all these benefits from the comfort of your own home.
