Don’t Psyche Yourself Out and Make DealDash Mistakes

dealdashDealDash can be fun, but sometimes if you think about winning too much you can psyche yourself out. Read this article, it will help.

Newbies and long-time DealDash players alike can think about winning a certain auction and psyche themselves out. This can lead to less enjoyment when using DealDash. Bidding in auctions is supposed to be fun and entertaining, not stressful. There are a few things that you can do to lessen the chance of psyching yourself out, so read on for more information from DealDash.

Pay Attention – But Don’t Stress

I know that I will occasionally watch as auction as it’s going, just waiting for the right time to jump in and bid. Honestly, that’s a good way to psyche yourself out, just waiting and watching. It would be a better plan, in my opinion, to simply place 1 bid to keep yourself in the game. This way you can relax a little, and not be constrained to thing that you need to jump in bidding before you’re ready.

Once you have taken the pressure off of yourself and you know that you aren’t locked out of the auction then you can relax and observe. You can pay attention to the bidders coming and going before you make your move.

Once-in-a-Lifetime Auctions are Rare

Occasionally there will be a “one-off” auction on DealDash that never returns. I can only think of a few things that were only auctioned once and never to be seen again. I know that many people can feel psyched out if they think it’s their “one big chance” to get something.

You can alleviate this feeling by simply browsing through the future auctions on DealDash, or typing the item into the search bar. If you see that there is another auction for the same item starting the next day then there’s no reason to psyche yourself out about “missing” this one if you aren’t able to win.

If you see the item when you do a search, but there isn’t a starting time listed it means that it will most likely be back, but there isn’t yet a second auction for this item scheduled. You can just set an alert, and DealDash will send you an email when this item is going to return to DealDash.

How to Set an Alert

After finding an auction that you would like to be notified on, look on the right side of the screen. There will be a blue button that says “Alert Me”. Click on the “Alert Me” button, then when the item is coming up for auction DealDash will send you an email. You can keep yourself calm because you know that DealDash will let you know when the item of your choice will be back for bidding.

BIN stands for Buy It Now, and you will soon learn to love the BIN option. The BIN option is put into place so that you don’t lose money when you are using DealDash.

The way BIN works, is if you don’t win an auction you can pay the retail price for the item that you didn’t win. DealDash Bidding Resolutions

DealDash

What are your New Year’s DealDash bidding resolutions this year?

There are many different bidding resolutions that you could choose to make this year. It all depends on how much you use DealDash and what your bidding style is, but here are some common bidding resolutions that you could choose to make this year. Read on for more information on bidding resolutions.

Resolve to Get Free Bids

DealDash loves to give free bids to their loyal bidders. Did you know that you can get free bids for just visiting DealDash and placing a bid? It sounds strange and like a trick, but it’s 100% legit. DealDash will give you between 4-30 bids every time you visit DealDash and place a bid on consecutive days. If you come and bid for a whole week on consecutive days you will end up earning 30 bids on the 7th day!

If you’ve been bidding on DealDash you are probably familiar with this one, but you always receive time on your time clock for being the highest bidder in a DealDash auction. As you bid your time clock meter starts filling up with green when you are the highest bidder. Once your little green meter at the bottom of your screen has been filled up, you will be credited with free bids. Getting free bids from DealDash is a great bidding resolution for the new year.

Resolve to Use the BidBuddy

Using the BidBuddy is a no-brainer, but some people simply just don’t realize how awesome the BidBuddy truly is. The BidBuddy will bid for you when you aren’t there – or when you are there but prefer not to place single bids. The BidBuddy wins more auctions for DealDash bidders than placing single bids does.

If you haven’t been using the BidBuddy regularly, then you should make it your bidding resolution to start using it this year. It will save you bids and money because it bids in turn with the other BidBuddies. It doesn’t waste any bids and only bids when it’s your “turn” to bid. Don’t waste your bids this year, resolve to use the BidBuddy.

Resolve to Budget

A common mistake that people make when they first start bidding on DealDash is to not figure out a bidding budget. It’s easy to get carried away and spend all of your bids in one auction if you’re not paying attention. This is why it’s important to make a bidding budget. You can figure out how many bids you want to purchase and how many bids that you want to spend on each auction. You might choose to do a BIN (Buy It Now) and get your bids back, therefore keeping your bidding budget in check. Resolve to have a bidding budget this year and you will be glad that you did.

Thanks for Reading the Blog

I hope that this article on making bidding resolutions for this upcoming year was helpful for you. DealDash has everything that you need for your home and family, from amazing beauty products to snow blowers. Step Up Your Bidding Game on DealDash

DealDashNeed to step up your bidding game? Here are some hints and tips from DealDash.

Are you a new bidder who is still trying to figure out how to step up your bidding game on DealDash? If DealDash is your favorite new hobby and you’re loving it, then step it up! Is your goal to be the best bidder that you can be? Well then, it’s time to learn how to up your bidding game on DealDash.

You Need to Buy Bids for the Best Price

First of all, if you’ve been buying bids for .60 a piece, then you need to show a little patience and wait for a sale. I never buy bids if they are over .14, though to be honest, I prefer .12! This means that I am not an impulse buyer, and I plan ahead and buy the biggest bid pack that fits into my budget when I see bids for .12 or .13 per bid. The absolute best time to buy bids is to wait for a big sale. Always wait until bids are at a super low price and buy them all at once, not a few here and a few there.

Set Reasonable Buy/BIN Goals

If you are bidding on things that you would buy at the store anyway such as a kitchen or everyday household item you can BIN (Buy It Now) the auction for retail value if you lose. You will also get free shipping on these items, and you will not be losing any money.

This is why you should set some bidding goals for each auction.  Setting reasonable goals is definitely a way to step up your bidding game. The more organized you are, the less likely you are to be impulsive and waste your bids.

For each auction that you enter, think about your goals before you start bidding. Ask yourself if you want to “go all the way” up to the retail price of the auction and BIN the item, or if you just want to bid 10%, 15%, or maybe 20% of the value before you drop out of the auction if you don’t win. By setting bid and BIN goals you can practice your bidding and make sure that you aren’t losing money as you go.

Always Get Your Free Bids

Stepping up your bidding game includes taking the freebies that DealDash offers in the form of free bids. There are many different ways that you can snag free bids from DealDash . You can bid on any item on DealDash to fill up your free bid meter. Also, you can simply sign in to DealDash and place a couple of bids every day. You could also try entering one of the contests that DealDash offers. The newest contest is called the “Best idea of the month” contest, and you can win 500 bids for sending in your idea to improve DealDash. Finally, sending in selfies to Facebook with your won items can also get you free bids every single week. It’s easy to step up your bidding game when you’re bidding with free bids from DealDash!

What’s Your Winning Strategy on DealDash?

DealDash

What’s your winning strategy on DealDash? There are many different ones to choose from, and you can change yours anytime.

Is there a favorite DealDash strategy that you often use when you are bidding? There is no set way that you have to bid on DealDash. If you use a certain strategy one day it doesn’t mean that you have to use the same one the next time – and it’s probably better for you if you don’t! Here are some things to think about when you are adopting a new strategy into your rotation. Read on for more information.

The Watcher

Sitting back and watching the auctions unfold when you aren’t bidding can be a great strategy. After watching certain people bid a few times you can almost predict what they are going to do when they’re bidding. Most people are creatures of habit. If you notice a bidder who consistently drops out of an auction at a certain point, such as when the auction hits a price of $10, or when there are a certain number of bidders that join the auction, then you have a “leg up” on them.

Don’t Spend All of Your Bids at First

Not spending all of your bids in the beginning of an auction is a great strategy that will result in saving lots of bids.  You need to use patience and watch the auction carefully if you want to use this strategy. The way to go about using this strategy is to put in a few bids at the beginning to see if the auction will end quickly, and if it doesn’t, then drop out for a bit.

The only problem with this strategy is that sometimes auctions end suddenly, and you might miss out. You wouldn’t want to use this strategy on something that you are extremely interested in. This is a good strategy to use on items that you see frequently on DealDash. Remember, being a person who drops in and out of auctions might miss out on some opportunities that other more persistent bidders might take advantage of.

BidBuddy Bidding Strategy

Are you incorporating the BidBuddy into your DealDash strategies? The BidBuddy is a great tool that DealDash gives (free of charge) to all bidders, that you can put in as many or as few bids as you like. You can cancel it or add more bids at any time. No matter what your core strategy, whether it’s being generous with your bids or more frugal, the BidBuddy can help you win.

Step-by-Step DealDash Tutorial Instructions

DealDashIt’s DealDash tutorial time, ya’ll! If you haven’t taken the tutorial, it’s time!

You can take the DealDash tutorial at any time, you don’t have to be a “brand newbie.” Heck, I didn’t take the tutorial until I had been bidding on DealDash for 2 years or so. DealDash has made the process of learning how to use the site so much easier and more fun with the tutorial. You can see how the auctions work before you try to jump in yourself. Here are step-by-step instructions on how to use the DealDash tutorial.

Where is the Tutorial?

The tutorial is located in the in the “Help” section on the site. There are lots of helpful things there, but the tutorial is what we are concentrating on today. Look at the picture below, and you will see a message welcoming you to DealDash.

DealDash Tutorial

Learn How to Bid

You can use the tutorial to win a bid pack of 10 bids. You will see that your bids are being used to participate in this tutorial, but DealDash will return them to you after the tutorial, and you will get to keep the bid pack of 10 bids that you will win playing against the computer as well. Like I said, you can take the tutorial at any time, so if you’re low on bids and haven’t taken the tutorial you should do so to get your 10 free bids.

What Does the Tutorial Do?

The tutorial is like a game against the computer. You will see other people participating in the pretend auction, but these aren’t actually real people. They are just there to show you how other people might act when you are playing against humans. The first thing that the tutorial shows you how to do is bid by placing single bids with the “Bid Now” button.

DealDash Tutorial

The Tutorial Teaches You About BidBuddy

This tutorial will also teach you how to use BidBuddy. The BidBuddy is used more often when bidding in auctions than placing single bids, so it’s a good thing to familiarize yourself with. The tutorial can help you do that.

DealDash Tutorial

After Winning…

After you win the auction in the tutorial you will get a glimpse of what happens when you win a real auction. The first time I won a real auction I was a little confused as to why there were fireworks on my screen. The tutorial will show you exactly what to look for.

DealDash Tutorial

BIN it…

One important thing on DealDash that the tutorial doesn’t show you is how to do a BIN (Buy It Now). This is an important thing to know because if you don’t win the item you’re bidding on you can buy it at retail price and get back all of your bids.

When you BIN the item for the retail price you get every single one of the bids back that you placed, as well as getting free shipping. When you don’t win an auction it just makes sense to do a BIN and receive your bids back. You are the “winner” of the auction in the tutorial, so that’s why it doesn’t show you how to BIN.

Thanks for Reading the DealDash Blog

Want Bids Back? BIN and Receive Your Bids

Finding what you want on DealDash is fun, but we can’t win all the time. It doesn’t matter what the price of the auction is, or how many bids that you spent, you can do a BIN on any DealDash item as long as you have placed at least one bid. When you don’t win an auction, BINning is the next best option.
