More Suggestions on How To Conserve Your Bids

We’ve talked about conserving bids before, but here are some other ideas that can hopefully help you save bids and money.

Well, there are a few different ways to try and conserve your bids for another day, and I will try to teach you about some of the easiest ways to save your bids for later.

One of the best ways to conserve your bids is to use the BidBuddy! When I very first started using DealDash a few years ago I was so confused by the Bid Buddy. At first, I thought that the BidBuddy was some kind of trick or bid waster, but really, that thinking was all wrong. The Bid Buddy is the BEST way to save bids, because when you are putting in single bids it’s very easy to lose track of the order that people are bidding in, and therefore wasting a bid by bidding too early.

The BidBuddy is a wonderful tool that DealDash provides to every single bidder, free of charge, to help them win more auctions. We all know that the majority of auctions on DealDash are won by using the BidBuddy. The BidBuddy waits until the last second to bid. You can put in as few or as many bids as you like into the BidBuddy, and it will tirelessly bid for you until your bids have run out. The BidBuddy is an awesome tool to use to conserve bids, especially if you are bidding on an auction that seems like it’s going to last late into the night, long after you have gone to bed.

We’ve talked about this before, but I feel that being willing to BIN (Buy It Now) is such an important way to conserve bids that we need to talk about it again. If conserving bids is important to you and your family, then you should probably only bid on things that you need and can use in everyday life instead of “taking a chance” on something that’s completely out of your price range if you don’t win. If you want to conserve bids, practice your DealDash math so you know when to stop bidding to break even with your bids + final auction cost, then stop bidding! After you do your math calculations and realize that you have reached the BIN price, use the “Buy it Now” option and pay retail price for the item. DealDash will when refund all of the bids you used on that item, and you can try again another day.

I hope that these simple tricks help you to save your bids and get the most out of your bid pack purchases. Pay attention to what you’re doing, check out the auctions and see what you would really like to bid on, and try my tips to save bids. See you on DealDash everyone! Good luck and happy bidding.

Black Friday Letdown? Not on DealDash!

How did you spend your Black Friday? Well, if you’re a hardcore shopper like myself you spent it fighting over cheap products!

Quite honestly, Black Friday shopping is usually a little bit of a letdown. I have a lot of fun looking through all of the sale papers and carefully crafting my strategy of which stores to go to, in what order, and what exactly I’m getting. It’s a lot of work, and in the end I wait in the cold New England weather, endure the pushes and shoves of my fellow shoppers, and spend a ton of money on stuff that I don’t really even need.

I probably should have saved my time, money, and effort and just shopped on DealDash! Just thinking back, what did I buy on Black Friday? Well, for starters, I got this lovely new Chromebook on which I am currently writing this blog. It was one of the “Doorbusters” at a large electronics store, so I had to get there early. They actually opened on Thanksgiving evening, so I ended up shoveling down the turkey and pie, cutting the family time short, and getting in line in the chilly Connecticut weather. How much did I really save? Was it worth missing out on the family time? Not really. I should have just gotten my Chromebook on DealDash. They have a good selection, and as always, if you don’t end up winning you can always BIN (Buy It Now) and get every single one of your bids back.

What else did I shop for on Black Friday? Well, as the proud owner of 2 (almost 3!) kids of course I got some great Christmas presents for them at some of the popular “big box” stores. Now let me tell you, those places are CRAZY on Black Friday. If you are interested in some of the more popular deals of the year there is snatching, grabbing, pushing, and those are just the more polite shoppers! I feel a little silly getting into that crowd when I could have just done my shopping on DealDash. They have the exact same toys, games, and sports equipment that I bought at the big box retailers, I could have stayed home and relaxed, and I might have even gotten an awesomely amazing deal.

You Can’t Buy Happiness, You Can Buy Bids | DealDash

Happiness Bids

We’re going to review a few auction bidding tips you should always consider when bidding in the auctions on DealDash.

1. Always buy bids on sale: as you may know there are a variety of different promotions and sales happening almost every day. When you need to stock up on more bids make sure you know when the next sale is coming up (you can see this from the main page on DealDash.com) and try to buy them whenever the price hits 15¢ per bid. If the price ever drops below 15¢ per bid, you better stock up because that’s rare!

2. Make sure that whatever auction catches your eye and creates that sweet sparkle, make sure it’s something that you could really use or give as a gift to best friends wedding or graduations present for your niece. As long as you’re bidding on something you want or that could be useful, you’re safe – especially if you don’t win the auction! All items sold on DealDash are brand new and come with the Buy it Now option. This means that in case you don’t win it, you can “Bin it” (Buy it Now) and get all the bids you spent in that auction back to try again. We’ll even ship your item for free!

What you didn’t know about BidBuddy

I have written in the past about the use of DealDash’s Bid Buddy system. It is a great tool, to win auctions.

However it is also a great tool to learn how and when other players bid. Over the past few months I have really watched the patterns that some players have, and I started all of this with the Bid Buddy.

As you know the Bid Buddy books automatic bids, so if you want to step away from an auction and still participate in the auction, you are able to. However I have began to use it for more than just that. Each auction has a countdown timer, as to when it will begin. It is important to pay attention to this timer. When it hits 10 seconds the auction is now live.

My secret is to enter my automatic bids as close to 10 seconds as possible. This gives me a point of reference in the auction. If I manage to enter my bids at 11 or 12 seconds, I should be the last automatic bidder. When my name comes up in the auction, it is fairly simple to tell how many automatic bidders there are which can be really valuable information.

If my first automatic bid comes up early (15 to 20 cents) I know that there are only a few other bidders that I need to beat out. If it happens to be between myself and another automatic bidder, I will jump on that bidder so that they use their automatic bids, and hopefully no one else enters the auction, and I can win. These are just suggestions, however they can be useful. Hope they are helpful when you’re planning your next penny auction bidding strategy on DealDash.com.

WIN It or BIN It | How to Play Responsibly

My Advice when bidding on online auctions is to bid responsibly by not spending more money than you can afford.

Being responsible is expected with any kind of bidding sites as it is with gambling sites because in a sense, it is somewhat similar gambling. You have to set your limit and stick to it, otherwise, you will waste your money, time and resources and you won’t be having fun.

By setting limits, seek auctions that you would pay for out in the “real” world, auctions that have a Buy it Now (BIN) price that fits your budget. With DealDash, if you are bidding on an auction and don’t win it, you have the option to BIN it and get your bids back. It’s a Win-Win for everyone!

WIN it or BIN it on DealDash.com!

Another technique is to wait for the specials. I get emails on a weekly, sometimes daily, basis from DealDash telling me about discounted bid packages and holiday specials going on. Part of my DealDash bidding strategy is to buy the bid packages when they are on sale at 15 cents to save myself money and peruse the site for items I’m willing to BIN and wait for them.

I will watch the timer to see when they start and tend to pick the ones where there is less “competition”, i.e. the middle of the night based on my research. Personally I find these auctions are less crowded, offering me more opportunity to win with less bids and money out of pocket. How about you? What time of day do you find best for bidding?

A little about myself: I’ve been bidding on Deal Dash for about two years and really like it. I’ve gone to other sites but find myself coming back to DealDash because of the option exchange an item for bids when you win an auction and the option to buy it now and get your bids back if you don’t win.
