Not Winning? Then You Better Be BINning!

DealDash

We can’t win all of the auctions on DealDash every time. However, the BIN option is always there for you.

If you’re a frequent bidder on DealDash, then I’m sure that you’re familiar with the BIN (Buy It Now) option. However, if you’re a new player on DealDash, then you should quickly familiarize yourself with BIN, because it will save you money and bids on DealDash. Read on to learn more about Buying It Now (BIN) on DealDash.

What IS BIN?

BIN is the thing to do if you don’t win! If you don’t win the auction that you’re bidding on, that’s okay because you can still get all of your bids by buy Buying It Now (BIN). You can BIN any auction that you have bid on, even if you only put in a few bids or have bid way more bids than you should have. If you want to find your open BIN offers, open your dashboard. You will see the “Open buy it now offers.” You will see the name of the product, how long you have left to BIN the auction, and how many bids you will receive back when you purchase the item.

It’s easy to pay. You have a choice if you’d like to pay with credit, debit, or even Paypal, exactly the same as if you had won. Upon the completion of your payment, DealDash will refund all of the bids that you spent on the auction. You can use them again right away, or save them for another day.

Calculate the BIN Price

You might be wondering how you know when to stop bidding and BIN the auction. No problem! It just takes a tiny bit of math to figure it out. Just take the retail price of the auction that’s listed on every auction page, and divide it by the price you paid for your bids. This price could be anywhere between .12 and .60, depending on how much you paid. This will give you the exact number of bids that you need to reach the retail price of the item. Keep in mind, though, that you will also need to pay the final auction fee if you win. Sometimes DealDash offers half-off or even free auction wins. Keep an eye on the banner on the main DealDash page for the details.

Shipping and Tracking

No matter if you’re winning or BInning, DealDash offers free shipping on all items on the site. This includes the smallest jewelry items to the biggest furniture items. They all have free shipping and handling. Isn’t that awesome?! Every item will arrive brand new, in the original box, and covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty.

What Do You Dream About Winning on DealDash?

DealDashWhat do you dream about winning on DealDash? Is there something special that you would love to win?

What is your favorite auction to bid on when you’re using DealDash? Have you not been able to win it yet? It seems like there is always that one auction that you just can’t quite win. Or perhaps your problem is that DealDash isn’t offering that special something that you’re looking for. If you could bid on anything, absolutely anything, what would it be? When you dream about DealDash, what are you winning?

Just Keep Missing That Special Auction?

Does DealDash have what you’re hoping and wishing for, but you just haven’t won it yet? Some auctions such as jewelry auctions are run every day, multiple times per day. However, some auctions, especially for higher-end, more expensive products aren’t run every day. Sometimes it can be tricky to catch them. That’s why it’s smart to set up an alert so you will know when your dream auction is coming up for bid.

Setting Up an Alert

You might wonder how to use the “Alert Me” feature on DealDash. Well, it’s easy!  Just click the button that says “Alert me” and DealDash will send you an email when DealDash has scheduled an auction for your special dream auction item. DealDash will alert you when the auction is starting within a couple of days, and then again when the auction is starting within a couple of hours. They will send you these emails only if you request them, DealDash does not spam people.

Be Sure to Use Your BidBuddy

If there’s a special auction that you’ve been dreaming about, then the next time it comes up, you had better set an alert, then when notified, set up your BidBuddy. If this auction is something that is very important to you, then the BidBuddy is your go-to in this auction situation. You may input as many bids as you would like into the BidBuddy, and you may cancel them anytime as well. The BidBuddy is a must if you really want to win.

Requesting an Auction from DealDash

You’ve all heard me say this before, but the folks over at DealDash customer service are some of the friendliest people around. If you’ve missed your dream auction or DealDash hasn’t yet offered what you want, then shoot them a quick email! Let them know what you’re interested in bidding on, and I wouldn’t be surprised if you saw it come up in the DealDash roster shortly.

4th of July is Coming – Get Out the Grill

DealDashThe 4th of July is coming up in just a couple of weeks. Get the grills prepared for hot dogs and hamburgers!

The 4th of July is the best time to have a cookout with the family, play some games out in the yard, and grill up some fresh meat on your BBQ grill! After that, it’s time for some ice cream, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and then watch the fireworks when it gets dark out. All-in-all, the 4th of July is one awesome holiday! DealDash can help with some of the fun. Read on for more tips on how to make your holiday great.

Get Your Grill Ready. No Grill? No problem!

We are a couple of weeks out from the 4th of July, so there is still time to win some items on DealDash and have them delivered. Whether it’s a grill you need, or perhaps some deck furniture, DealDash has you covered with products and gift cards for auction. Now is the time to get everything prepared for your family cookout, picnic, or get together for the 4th of July. Do you have everything that you need?

Is your grill in good shape and working properly? You’re going to need a fully-functional grill with fuel if you’re having a barbecue this holiday. DealDash always has grills up for auction, as well as gift cards if you don’t see the particular one that you want. Lowes has an excellent selection of grills available, and DealDash often has Lowes gift cards up for auction. Maybe you already have your grill and just need some grilling accessories. No problem! DealDash has those as well.

Entertain Your Guests

Typically when you have a 4th of July BBQ you invite family, and sometimes even friends and neighbors. They’re not just there for the meat, they’re there for the fun and entertainment as well. Here are some ideas for yard games that you might want to have ready for your guests:

  • Badminton
  • Croquet
  • Cornhole
  • Horseshoes

And for the younger guests, there are plenty of things that you can have on hand to entertain them as well:

  • Bubbles
  • Sprinkler
  • Jumprope

Get Your Bids Ready

Be sure to stock up your bids (and your fridge!) for your Independence Day celebration, and then check out DealDash. Bid packs come in different amounts of bids. You can get a pack of 60, 300, 600, 1200, or 2400. The prices of the bids change daily, DealDash has different sales each day. Bids cost between .12-.60 per bid. The most common price for bids is around $.15-.17, so if you see them for less than that, you should take advantage of it and buy the largest bid pack that you can at that time.

Being an Intermediate Bidder on DealDash

DealDash

Being a newbie on DealDash is easy. Being an intermediate bidder can be a little trickier…

When you first open your account on DealDash and begin bidding you should get your first wins fairly quickly. When you’re a newbie and haven’t won anything DealDash typically adds in a few small auctions so you are only bidding against other newbies. Why do they do this? It’s so you can get a feel for how to bid and how the site in general works.

When you are first starting to bid it’s smart to start small with a $10 gift card or a small item so that you can see how the bidding process works. There is also a tutorial on DealDash so you can go through a pretend auction and see how it works. If you complete the tutorial you will also receive 10 free bids when you complete it for winning the mock auction.

What’s Next As a Bidder?

Once you’ve won some small auctions and have a good feel for how the site works, then you can move on to bigger and better prizes. How do you know when you’re ready to move on to bigger prizes? It totally depends on you! However, being prepared is a good way to win things big and small, so I would suggest that you start doing your research on not just the items but other bidders as well.

If you’re wondering how you can get more information on DealDash auctions, it’s easy. Anyone can get this information at any time, no matter if they’re bidding in the auction or just observing. Simply open up any auction page and it will tell you a lot of the information that you need to know. On the left side, from top to bottom you will see the BIN (Buy It Now) price, the previous winners and what the auction ended at, and then below that, you will see the bidders currently bidding on the auction. As they are bidding you will see each person’s avatar pop up, and their bidding bio, which is just a few sentences that they wrote about themselves.

Interested in the Money Back Guarantee?

If you’ve tried bidding as a newbie and have decided that DealDash just isn’t for you – no problem! DealDash offers a “No Questions Asked 100% Money Back Guarantee” on any bidder’s first bid pack purchase. If any bidder is unsatisfied with the DealDash website for any reason they are entitled to get their entire first Bid Pack purchase fully refunded.

It’s easy to be refunded, and there will be no hard feelings! Even after getting a refund you are still allowed to participate on DealDash – but there will be no more refunds on bid packs. You can email refunds@dealdash.com within 90 days of your first bid pack purchase and request the refund. The refund will be credited back to you in 7 days. The refund will be granted regardless of if you have won or lost auctions, or whether you have bids left on your account or not. Only 1 refund per person, no exceptions, sorry.

Thanks for Reading the Blog

I hope that you have enjoyed bidding on DealDash as a newbie and will continue on to being an intermediate bidder. I hope that this article has been helpful for you. Go check out the site and enjoy being an intermediate bidder. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Does DealDash Differ?

DealDashIf you’ve bid on other sites, you know DealDash is different. Here are some ways that DealDash is amazing.

Customer Service is Top Notch

I have been bidding on DealDash for years, and I have had very few problems. However, no website is perfect, so I have occasionally had to email customer service for one thing or another. For example, once I had an item arrived damaged. I’m not sure if it had been damaged in transit or what, but regardless, it wasn’t in “100% new and factory-fresh” condition, so I emailed customer service. They emailed me back within just a few hours and arranged an exchange for me. There was no fuss, no hassle, and no pressure.

DealDash Won’t Telemarket You

Speaking of pressure, there is another entertainment bidding site out there that relies on high-pressure sales techniques for their bids. I had signed up for them around the time that I had signed up for DealDash, to see which site I liked better. Well, this other site included a space for a phone number that was required, so I put it in. They called me within moments of me signing up and tried to pressure me into buying $1,000 worth of bids on the spot. When I said “No thanks, I’m not sure if I’ll like your site or not.” they kept trying to convince me. It was like a telemarketing call, it was awful. I ended up hanging up on him.

DealDash would never do that. As I’ve said before, I’ve been with them for years, and the only time that they have ever called me was for a survey, and they emailed me first to ask if they could call me. And when I was on that phone call with DealDash there was absolutely zero talk about trying to get me to buy bids, it was just a customer satisfaction survey which I was happy to participate in.

Free Shipping for WINs and BINs

Unlike those other bidding sites, DealDash offers FREE shipping on every single item, no matter how big or how small. That is one of the reasons that I originally thought that DealDash was much better than some of the other bidding sites. Other entertainment shopping websites offer free shipping on just gift cards, or small items and have excessive “handling charges” on other items.

Did you know that some of the other sites even charge to ship gift cards? To ship a single gift card with a receipt in an envelope should cost 1 stamp. If you take into account the company’s cost of paper, envelope, and stamp I could agree with them charging around a dollar to ship a gift card. However, some sites are charging upwards of $2 to ship a single gift card, which is at least double, if not more, than it actually costs them. That seems completely unfair to me.

Didn’t WIN? Then BIN!

Speaking of unfair, how unfair is it to spend your bids in an auction and have no way to get them back if you lose? There will be plenty of times that you don’t win the auction. Personally, I win about 1 in 10 of the auctions that I seriously participate in. I’m fine with those odds, because I know that I can get all of my bids back by buy Buying It Now (BIN) if I don’t win. After you pay for a BIN, DealDash will refund all of the bids that you spent on the auction. You can use them again right away or save them, depending on how you’re feeling that day.

All DealDash Newbies, Start Here

Welcome to DealDash! If you’re just getting started, read on to find how DealDash works.

Welcome to DealDash. If you’re thinking of joining, or just joined recently, then here is a quick instructional blog article on how to get things started. It’s easy and fun to win great prizes and get awesome deals on DealDash. You can’t win if you don’t bid, though, so here are some simple instructions so you can get off bidding on the right foot. Read the rest of this article to find out more.

Think of a Name, Get Registered

Before you get registered on DealDash you’ll want to think of a username. You might find it a little trickier than you thought it would be – but that’s because DealDash has over 8 million registered users! But don’t worry, there are still plenty of names to choose from. Personally, I would suggest not using a username that you use on other websites, because sometimes it’s nice to go into “stealth mode” and not have anyone know who you are.

Getting registered takes just a couple of minutes. Just put in your username, your email, and a password, and you’re good to go. Later on you will fill out your other information such as your shipping address. After you have gotten registered then it’s time to buy bids.

Buy Bids

Bids are the currency that is used in the auctions on DealDash. Bids are for sale in a variety of amounts of bids. The regular price per bid is 60 cents, and your first bid pack purchase will be charged at this price. However, DealDash offers bid sales every day of the week where you can purchase bids from .13-.18 cents per bid. Typically on holidays the prices will be even lower. You just have to be check in and see what the price is every day, then buy bids or skip buying and wait for another day when the price is lower.

Search for a Product that You Need or Want

What do you want to win today? DealDash has so many different products that it would be impossible to list everything that is up for bid. However, I can tell you that there are kitchen items, outdoors and garage items, art, home decor, kid’s items, and gift cards.

All items sold on DealDash are brand new, sealed in the package, and come with manufacturer warranties. All of the items are clearly displayed on each auction page, some even have multiple pictures for you to check out. All of the items have excellent descriptions, and of course, you can always google the item you’re interested in to get consumer reviews or more information. DealDash prides itself on being honest and transparent, and always offers plenty of information on all of the products that are available for auction.

Bid, Bid, B-I-D

All auctions start at $0.00. Each time that a bidder places a single bid it adds one penny to the final price of the item. Each bid from you or anyone else restarts the timer to 10 seconds and allows people to place bids until the timer reaches 0 or is reset again by someone bidding. You can bid by clicking your cursor on the BID button, or use the free bidding tool that DealDash provides called the BidBuddy.

The BidBuddy is something that everyone should take advantage of – you can program it to bid as many times as you like, and you can watch it bid against the competition or step away from the computer, or even turn it off and go to sleep! This will come in extremely handy when you realize that some auctions can last days, depending on the popularity and retail price of the item.

Did You Win or Will You BIN?

Eventually, all auctions must end. The last person to bid is the winner of the auction and will pay the final auction fee that is displayed on the bidding screen. Sometimes DealDash offers half-off of all auctions or even FREE auctions. When you start bidding in an auction you never know if it’s going to be over in a matter of minutes or even days!

If you are planning on bidding on an item that you plan on buying anyway, you will want to think about going “all the way” and be willing to BIN (Buy It Now) if you don’t win. When you BIN the item for the retail price you get ALL of the bids back that you placed, as well as getting free shipping. BINning items are a great way to get “perpetual” bids, because if you only bid on items you’re willing to buy, then you will always get your bids back if you lose.

Better DealDash Bidding is at Your Fingertips

DealDash

Better DealDash bidding is just at your fingertips if you pay attention to these simple suggestions from the DealDash blog.

DealDash has many helpful and useful features that you might not be taking advantage of, and therefore missing out on some good wins. Seeing as how all bidders want to get as many wins as possible, then you should learn about as many different bidding strategies that you can. That way you can maximize your wins by changing up your bidding styles and using these tips from DealDash.

Use Bookmarking and Alerts

Have you been using the the bookmarking and alert features that DealDash provides to all bidders? DealDash has made it so that you can know when all of your favorite auctions are coming up. You will be missing out on some great auctions if you aren’t using the DealDash “Bookmarking” and “Alert Me” features. You should use the search feature and bookmark and alert auctions on a regular basis. Wouldn’t you be sad if you missed out on something that you really wanted?

Take a Chance on Something New

Have you been bidding on the same auctions day after day? Maybe your favorite auctions are gift cards, or maybe bid packs. It’s nice to be able to bid on your favorite auctions, but it’s also fun and exciting to give new things a try as well. DealDash is partnered with many different companies to bring you new and interesting products that you might not see at your local store. When you take a chance and bid on something new then you have even more chances to win something awesome!

Conserve Your Bids

Bidding on your favorites and taking a chance on something new are both good things to do. However, sometimes there’s just nothing that you’re interested in bidding on that day, and that’s fine, too! Don’t bid on something just to do it, that’s just wasteful. If there’s nothing that you’re particularly interested in, then save your bids for another day. I know the fun and excitement of winning an auction is great, but at the end of the day, if it’s not something that you need or are excited about – don’t bid on it! Save those bids for something that you really love.
