Halloween Safety Tips from DealDash

DealDashWith Halloween just a week and a few days away it’s time to think about safety tips. Here safety tips you need to know, from DealDash.

Sure, you can get a great bargain on DealDash, but do you know what else you can get? Tips, tricks, and advice about a multitude of things. Today we are going to be talking about Halloween safety tips. These are very important tips, because with all of the children out on Halloween night it doesn’t hurt to be extra careful. Here are some things that you’ll want to keep in mind about Halloween safety, from DealDash.

Costume Safety

There are few things more important than costume safety. Costume safety can mean the difference between a car being able to see your child at night or not. Be sure that your child’s costume is a good fit, and they are able to see out of the eyes and hear if they have a mask covering their ears.

I know that Halloween is a spooky time where many of the costumes are black, but please make sure that the costume isn’t completely black – and if it is, add a reflective strip so that cars will be able to see your child in the dark.

Stranger Safety

Halloween is one of the few times of the year when children are encouraged to knock on stranger’s doors and speak to them. Children who wouldn’t normally speak to a stranger have no qualms about doing it on Halloween to get candy. If your children are young enough that you want to accompany them to every house, then it’s no problem.

However, if you have a child that’s a bit older who wants to go with their friends instead of mom, dad, or the grandparents then encourage them to use caution. Try to get them to agree to only go to neighbor’s houses that you know. If that isn’t possible, then ask them to send you a quick “check-in” text after every 20 houses. It might not be a “cool” thing to do in front of their friends, but their safety is paramount.

Safety on DealDash

Speaking of safety, did you know that DealDash has it’s very own safety net built in for bidders? It’s true. It’s called BIN or Buy It Now, and it will keep your bids safe in the event that you lose the auction.

When an auction ends the last person to bid is the winner of the auction. If you aren’t the winner of the auction and you have placed at least one bid you are eligible to BIN the auction. When you BIN the item for the retail price you get ALL of the bids back that you placed, as well as getting free shipping. Isn’t that a lovely safety net that DealDash has built into each and every auction?

Oops I Did it Again…On DealDash!

DealDashNo one is perfect, and that includes bidding on DealDash. Here are some things you might want to avoid while bidding.

Do you want to avoid DealDash mistakes? We all would! This blog article will take you through some of the more common DealDash mistakes, and how to avoid them. What mistakes do you see people making while using DealDash? Do you have any ideas how to avoid them so you don’t make the same mistakes? Read on for more information from DealDash.

Don’t Jump In too Late

A  mistake that I see people often make on DealDash is entering an auction when it has almost reached the $5 No Jumper Limit. Now, this is completely allowed, of course, but I still think that this is a strategic mistake. Why? Because if they auction is down to just 2 or 3 people and it has almost reached the $5 No Jumper Limit then those few people feel kind of an “ownership” over this particular auction and probably won’t let it go without a fight.

I have seen many people say that they will overbid past the BIN (Buy It Now) because they know that the person who just joined the auction will most likely bid for a while. Bidding past the BIN price is risky, but some people just can’t resist trying to rack up more “clock time” with the TATHB (Time As The Highest Bidder) perk.

Not Letting Your Buddy Help

Do you use the BidBuddy in each and every auction? You should! The BidBuddy is there to help you win against your competition, why wouldn’t you use him? By using the BidBuddy, you have the best chance at winning the auction.

The BidBuddy is just as easy (if not easier) to use than single bidding. Simply fill him up with as many bids that you would like to spend on an auction and let him work his magic. Don’t make the mistake of not using the BidBuddy – he’s free and available to use on every auction.

Don’t Throw Away Your Bids! Use BIN!

While there is always a winner in each and every DealDash auction, it won’t always be you. If you try to only bid on things that you would normally buy at the store such as clothing, then you can BIN them if you don’t win. BINning an auction just takes a click of the button. After you’re done bidding and would like to BIN the item, just click the “Buy It Now” button, and after you have paid you will receive all of your bids back in your account. In addition to that, you’ll get free shipping on the item as well.

Luxury Items on DealDash

DealDash

Do you have champagne tastes on a grape juice budget? Try out your skills on DealDash for luxury items.

Loving fancy and expensive items is a bit of a weakness of mine, but as a mom of three, I don’t have a lot of extra money in the budget for frivolous items. Sure, there is plenty of money for household needs, but for beautiful jewelry and art? Not so much. Luckily, DealDash has a large selection of jewelry, home decor, and art for those of us who like the finer things in life. Read on for more information.

Home Decor the DealDash Way

Do you love works of fine art, statues, and fountains? Are you a little short on cash, though, and don’t have extra money to make your house look like a fine hotel? No problem! All of these items are up for bid on DealDash and can be yours if you’re the final bidder in the auction. There are expensive items like these up for auction every single day, and some of them are won for literally pennies on the dollar. Of course, some of them end up going for much more, but the majority end up with a final auction fee of less than $20.

Electronics A-Plenty

If you have an old TV, a clunky old desktop, or a flip phone cell, then it’s time you visited the DealDash Electronics and Computers category. This category has everything you could ever wish for to furnish your home with the electronics of your dreams. If you’re a regular bidder on the Electronics and Computers category, then your friends and family will be amazed with all of the wonderful electronics that they see in your home the next time they come visit.

What if I Don’t Win?

We call can’t be the big winner every time. There is always one big winner in each auction and other people who don’t win. DealDash realizes that people don’t want their bidding to be in vein, though, and offers a solution to all of the people who bid but didn’t win. It’s called Buy It Now. Bidders affectionately refer to it as BIN.

Have you ever “BINned” an item? It’s easy, and when you BIN an item for the listed price you will get every single one of your bids back, the item you wanted, and free shipping on each item. Since DealDash cares about it’s bidders, you will also get to keep the “clock time” that you accrued while placing bids, which leads to free bids when you “free bid meter” has filled up.

Better Bidding on DealDash

DealDashWant to win more auctions on DealDash? Follow these tips for more wins.

Have you been examining your winning strategies on DealDash lately? It’s always a good idea to change up your bidding habits and strategies to see more wins on DealDash. Here are a few tips that will help you get more wins and have more fun playing on DealDash. It’s time to learn how to be the best bidder you can be, just follow these simple strategies and you’ll

Buy Bids for the Best Price

Part of having a winning strategy is having enough bids to implement your plans. Wait for a great sale on bids. It’s that simple! This means that you will have to plan ahead and avoid the temptation to buy bids when they aren’t the best price. The very best time to buy bids is to wait for a big sale. Just think, if you’re competing against someone who paid significantly more than you for bids, you have a better chance of winning because you’ll be able to spend more bids while spending the same amount of money.

Be Sure to Set Bidding Goals

Setting bidding goals is a wonderful way to become an even better bidder. Make a list of things that you would like to win, and keep an eye out for those special auctions that you have on your list. If you have many things on your list that you want to bid on, then it makes sense to put them in order from what you think will be easiest to win, then medium, then all the way to hardest. Just think, if you are able to win one of the harder or medium ones first, then you are sure to be able to win one of the easiest ones in short order!

Don’t Forget to Use the BIN Feature

When you’re working your way through the list of items that you want to win, you’re going to have some losses. That’s just how it goes when you’re on DealDash. However, try to bid on things that you would normally buy at the store anyway such as kitchen items or children’s things. If you don’t win, you can simply Buy It Now (BIN) the item for retail value. Not only will you get all of your bids back, but you’ll also get free shipping on these items.

You Can Be an Awesome DealDash Bidder

DealDash

Everyone can be an awesome bidder on DealDash! It just takes a little practice and a little concentration. Here are some hints and tips from DealDash.

Are you a new bidder who is still trying to figure out how to be an awesome bidder? Has DealDash taken over all of your free time and you’re loving it? Is your goal to be the best bidder that you can be? Well then, it’s time to learn how to be the best bidder you can be!

Buy Bids for the Best Price

Are you buying bids for .60 a piece? How about .20 a piece? Stop that! Wait for a sale. Personally, I never buy bids if they are over .14. This means that I have to plan ahead and be sure that I am buying the biggest bid pack that fits into my budget when I see bids for .13 or .14 per bid. Why do I do this? Because the best time to buy bids is to wait for a big sale. Don’t just buy $10 of bids here and there no matter what the price is! Save up those $10 purchases and wait until bids are at a low price and buy them all at once!

When you are up against some stiff competition on DealDash the only thing that The person who pays the least for bids and buys them in the biggest bid pack is going to be able to bid for longer, outlasting the competition on auctions. So buying bids in a large volume is one way that you can be an awesome bidder.

Set Bidding Goals

Have you ever sat down and tried to set some bidding goals for yourself?  Setting reasonable goals is a wonderful way to become an awesome bidder. Why keep bidding willy-nilly on anything and everything that catches your eye when you can be organized and strive to meet your goals.

By setting progressively harder goals you can practice your bidding and compete with the best bidders around. Think about what bidding goals you would like to accomplish and make a plan to get yourself there. You can do it!

Use the BIN Feature

Being an awesome bidder sometimes means accepting a loss. However, if you are bidding on things that you would buy at the store anyway such as a kitchen or everyday household item you can BIN (Buy It Now) them for retail value when you lose. You will also get free shipping on these items, and you will not be losing any money. Think of the BIN as your safety net for DealDash that will never let you down.

Oops…I Made a DealDash Mistake

DealDash MistakeDon’t worry, everyone makes mistakes. If you want to avoid DealDash mistakes, then read on for some helpful advice…

Making a mistake on DealDash isn’t typically a huge deal. You might lose out on a few bids, or you may end up frustrated, but in general a DealDash mistake is okay. Do you know why? Because it can always be turned into a learning experience to make yourself a better bidder, and that’s a good thing. Look on the positive side, stay excited, and bid on DealDash.

When Are You Bidding?

A big DealDash mistake that I see happening all the time is people are swamping the site during the peak bidding times. If you’re bidding on Friday nights and Saturday and Sunday between around Noon-8PM you’re going to have a difficult time. These are some of the busiest times on DealDash, and it can be really difficult to snag an awesome deal. It can be done, of course, but not as easily.

If you have been making this DealDash mistake, not to worry. There is a very easy solution – bid during the off hours! If you can find auctions that you’re interested in winning in the super early AM, or perhaps when most people are at work, then you should bid on those. No, you don’t have to stay up late or call out of work! Just set up your BidBuddy.

Not Using Your BidBuddy

Speaking of the BidBuddy, if you’re not using him, that’s a major mistake! You DO know how to use the BidBuddy, right? It’s easy! The first thing that you will need to do is pick an auction to bid on. After that, then just input the number of bids that you are willing to spend on it in the BidBuddy box, and click the “Book a BidBuddy” button. It’s the best way to be able to bid on auctions when you can’t be online, and it’s perfect for bidding on auctions during non-peak times when you’re busy with other things.

Thanks for Reading the DealDash Blog

I hope this article on some DealDash mistakes has been helpful and encouraged you to learn more about DealDash. If you’d like to learn more, you should definitely check out DealDash’s “Tips & Tricks” section on the official site. It’s full of wonderful information to help you win on DealDash. Just click this link right here and you can check it out.

As always, it’s a good idea to be sure that you are paying attention to what you’re doing, check out the auctions and see what you would really like to bid on, try some easier auctions to build up knowledge, and you’ll be winning awesome stuff before you know it! See you on DealDash everyone! Good luck and happy bidding.
